Prayer
means 'to wish to the advantage of' (that is, it is a mental action where
we set the mind on something as a completed reality, this having to do
with causing what you want, to be brought into form from the invisible).
Whether we realize it or
not, all are part of this overall oneness, just as a drop of sea water
is a part of the sea.
The ancients told us to,
pray without ceasing, that is, maintain contact with this Intelligent Creative
Force, always aware that every thought you have, good and bad, goes into
the universal energy where it produces according to its kind; that is,
what you think comes into reality, comes into your life.
When we pray for ourselves
and/or another, we must realize that God, or the Intelligent Infinite,
the All, the Knowing, the Ever Present, the Universal Energy, has given
us secrets, secrets to do with laws of the universe He has designed and
set in motion.
When we realize that we too
are Gods (God is a family), we approach prayer differently:."Let
this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Emmanuel;
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with
God." ...Philippians 2:5,6.
"I have
said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."...Psalms
82:6.
"Emmanuel
answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, You are gods?"...John
10:34.
We now approach prayer from the point of view that
we have power bestowed upon us, able to use it in a way that the Father
of the family of God (divine ones) does.
And what is this way? It is
the way of making things become as you would have them be. If one is ill,
to get the person well, you have to see the result in your mind as a mental
picture, of how it would be to have the person up and about again, and
excited about this.
If prosperity you want, you
have to see a mental picture of just how your life would be with it, and
excited about it:."But
let him ask in faith, not of doubtful mind.(if
a person really knew something this great for him is true, he will be so
excited about it; ecstatic). For he
that wavers.(wishes
for it, thinks it would be nice, but keeps being influenced by the present
physical evidence to the contrary).is
like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that
man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.(the
'Lord' is the master of your life, and what masters your life are those
things that you have accepted as true for you, and if they are negative
thoughts that you have accepted as true for your experience, that is what
you get in life)." ...James 1:7.
Now get a picture and be thankful for the things
you put in the picture. In this, you are actually calling things into being
that are not presently in physical existence in your life.
Your subconscious which reacts with the universal
energy, knows no difference between what it 'sees' in your mind, whether
it is a picture made up from what you imagine or whether it is a picture
of what is in your mind as you walk down the street. It only accepts those
pictures that you turn on the switch to with your emotions. This it interprets
as the 'ok' to go into production on. So be careful. Watch your feelings.
You do not want any more negativity coming into your life:."Keep
thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Proverbs
4:23.
"...God,
who quickens.(makes
alive).the
dead and calls those things which be not as though they were." ...Romans
4:17.
"Declaring
the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are
not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure."
...Isaiah 46:10.
"According
as his divine power has given unto us
all things that pertain unto life...Whereby are given unto us exceeding
great and precious promises, that by these you are partakers of the divine
nature.(equal
with God).having
escaped the corruption that is in the world.(the
mass mind of humanity).through
lust.(following
selfish purposes; a 'me first, me only' mindset which is the mindset of
the mass mind of humanity)..." ...2Peter
1:3,4.
Note
that it is His power that gives us all things. So ask:
"And all things, whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing.(accepting
as true), you receive." ...Matthew
21:22.
