There
is an invisible something, an invisible stillness that is your base. Its
presence can be hindered or covered entirely for many months if one misses
important periods of quiet.
Take time to sit alone in
the still and quiet. A dark place can be helpful. Be alone with yourself.
Education focuses the attention
increasingly upon specialized concerns, thereby limiting opportunity for
expansibility, so necessary to fully develop the brain.
Meditational forms such as
the popular TM (Transcendental Meditation) are a way to peace, personal
and global. Scientific results of over 30 years attest to TM's efficacy.
The
more complicated one's life becomes, the greater the need for these still
and quiet times. Don't allow your physical life to take your mind far ahead
of its need for stillness. You progress from this quiet base. Maintain
it and see yourself progress.
